Connect with Lee:
Lee is the Page of Page Communications with a history of marketing, involvement and connecting. He is a media and events guru. He enjoys both and it shows through his work and involvement. Lee gives strategic counsel and oversees the creation, development, execution and evaluation of communication programs for clients. His experience is diverse across multiple industries, including retail/hospitality, development, healthcare, and professional services. He keeps his finger on the pulse of trends and topics in Kansas City as well as regionally and nationally to leverage in a way that gets attention. Connecting clients with media and influencers that matter is like a puzzle that Lee is always fitting pieces. Lee is plugged into Kansas City. He twice co-chaired the Bloom event and built it in to one of Kansas City’s signature annual fundraisers attracting more than a thousand people raising funds for the Kansas City Free Health Clinic. He currently serves on the boards of The Kansas City Free Health Clinic and AIDS Service Foundation. He actively supports many arts, animal, health, and children’s organizations. In 2010 he was on the steering committees for St. Luke’s “Paint the Town,” the annual benefit for the Kemper Museum of Art and the Missouri Repertory Theater’s “Fearless Fete” gala. He served seven years on the board, including a two-year chairmanship, of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Young Friends of Art in addition to a board position with The Charlotte Street Foundation/Urban Culture Project. Lee’s community and civic involvement includes planning committees, events, and grand openings. He is a Kansas City native, grew up in Johnson County, and graduated from the University of Kansas. He now resides in Brookside.
Connect with Sarah:
Sarah joins the Page Communications team after graduating from the University of Kansas in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in journalism and a minor in international studies. Sarah joined Page Communications as an intern in March 2013 was hired by the agency in April 2013. Sarah’s responsibilities include social media strategy and mangement, media relations, press release and advisory writing, logistical event planning, and assistance with agency marketing and internal operations.
Sarah comes to Page Communications with professional public relations experience. She spent the past year working as the public relations coordinator for the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library, where she increased public and media awareness of library programs and events. Prior to working at the library, Sarah spent the summer interning for Premier Public Relations, a London-based communications agency that represents entertainment industries. While living abroad her interest for fashion and lifestyle PR continued to grow. In addition to her professional experience, Sarah developed multiple campaigns through her coursework at the University of Kansas, including a social media campaign for Audio Reader and a strategic campaign for Kansas Public Radio as a part of a capstone course.
Sarah is a Chicago native who enjoys fashion, traveling, walking her dog, cooking, and cheering on her favorite teams – the Kansas Jayhawks, Kansas City Royals, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Bulls.
Connect with Breanne:
Breanne comes to Page Communications from Lift Division, a digital marketing firm based in Columbia, Missouri, where she served as a content strategist. Over the course of two years, she maximized online growth for clients through search engine optimization techniques such as writing guest blog posts and elevating website content. Additionally, Breanne has gained experience through PR internships at Veterans United Home Loans in Columbia and Lockton Companies, Inc. in Kansas City, where she wrote press releases and media advisories, interviewed key associates, and wrote stories for internal communication marketing pieces. Breanne also brings with her writing and advertising experience, which she gained as the copywriter for a team that developed a campaign for Blue Diamond Almond Breeze®, the client assigned for her senior capstone course.
Breanne graduated with honors from the University of Missouri in December 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication. She married her high school sweetheart, Justin, on June 11, 2016.
Connect with Julia:
Julia joined the Page Communications team in August 2015 after over a year at an agency in Boston. Julia graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Communication Studies from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in May 2014. Julia’s responsibilities include media relations, press release and advisory writing, event support, social media strategy and management, and community outreach.
Julia comes to Page Communications from SSPR, a full-service public relations firm with six offices across the country. Throughout the course of her time there, Julia excelled at getting her clients top-tier coverage. From retail to technology to nutrition to education, Armstrong has had hands-on experience with a diverse roster of clients. Armstrong also brings her experience in media relations with her. With over a year of agency experience, Armstrong has learned how to build and maintain relationships with media and keep her clients’ business in the news and ahead of the curve.
When not working, Julia enjoys traveling, spending time with her big family, cooking, and happy hour.
Connect with Katlin:
Katlin joins the Page Communications team after graduating with honors from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in December 2015 with a dual degree from the College of Arts & Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Journalism and Mass Communication. Katlin joins the Page Communications team with heavy social media experience from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where she served as a marketing intern focused on social media strategy and account management across multiple platforms. Additionally, she developed several campaigns throughout her coursework at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, including advertising campaigns for Radio Shack and Trader Joe’s.
Katlin loves attending concerts and her red-nose pit bull, Buddy. When she’s not giving her undivided attention to Buddy, she loves to explore KC’s expansive coffee scene.
Connect with Adrienne:
Adrienne earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts: Public Relations from Park University, graduating with honors in May 2016. She joined the Page Communications team after one and a half years in an intern role. Adrienne has a hefty background in customer service and experience in the food and beverage industry, a key industry that Page Communications services. Before moving to Kansas City to finish her degree, Adrienne attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, where she worked at Johnny’s Tavern West for nearly two years. There, she also managed and maintained the social media page for Johnny’s Tavern West, increasing interaction with its target audiences. Throughout her coursework at Park University, Adrienne wrote for The Stylus, Park University’s student newspaper, as well as filmed and produced news packages for the Northland News, a student-produced news program, also from the university.
Connect with Abi:
Abi graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communication. White joined Page Communications as a summer intern and was hired by the agency in August 2016.
Abi gained considerable social media experience through her college courses, as well as her involvement in the University of Missouri chapter of Executive Women International – Collegiate, a global women’s organization that brings together key individuals from diverse backgrounds to promote leadership, enhance personal and professional development, and encourage community involvement. At the latter, Abi served as communications director and curated regular, engaging content across all social media platforms. Additionally, Abi assumed the role of social media specialist for her capstone course during her senior year. In this role, she created and implemented a social media strategy for her client, EpicEd, a start-up in Columbia, Missouri that educates middle and high school students through competitive video gaming.
Connect with Jenna:
Jenna is a former Page Communications team member, working as a PR coordinator from 2011 – 2013 after graduating from The University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Communications in December 2010.
Prior to returning to Page Communications, Jenna spent nearly three years at LightEdge Solutions, a cloud computing and data center provider, as a marketing coordinator in the company’s Kansas City office. Her responsibilities at LightEdge included event planning, social media, direct mail and email campaigns, website management, and managing partner and vendor relationships for all marketing development funds. Jenna also worked closely with the LightEdge Solution sales team to create client presentations and to provide RFP project management. Most recently, Jenna spent time at Bread & Butter Concepts, a local restaurant group, where she focused on social media and public relations for several restaurant concepts in the Kansas City area.
