Page Communications’ services help generate more than $2.4 million in revenue during 2014 Kansas City Restaurant Week

Page Communications is proud to announce the record-breaking results of the fifth annual Kansas City Restaurant Week. From January 17 – January 26, 133 restaurants from across the metro area participated, the most in the event’s five-year history, generating more than $2.4 million in revenue. Ten percent of that total – more than $240,000 – was donated to three local charities: Harvesters – the Community Food Network, the Kansas City Regional Destination Development Foundation and the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association (GKCRA) Educational Foundation. Over its first five years, Kansas City Restaurant Week has raised nearly $700,000 for Kansas City charities.

2014 marks the fourth year that Page Communications has worked with theKansas City Convention & Visitors Association (KCCVA) and the GKCRA, Restaurant Week’s founding partners, to establish, brand and build awareness for the 10-day dining event. Some of the direct results of Page Communications’ work include:


  • 4.5 million impressions through media coverage (10% increase from 2013)
  • 55 TV segments (both live in-studio and taped on location)
  • 23 radio interviews featuring KCCVA, GKCRA and participating restaurants and chefs
  • 104 on-air giveaways through Mix 93.3, Alice 102 and 94.1 KFKF

Other notable highlights include:


  • More than $2.4 million in restaurant revenue, a 37-percent increase over 2013
  • 17,783 all-time app downloads and 27,988 app sessions on thefree mobile app
  • More than 8.14 million impressions accrued through social channels
  • 387,663 page views of participating restaurant menus at
