After successfully signing a number of new clients in recent months, Page Communications is pleased to announce it has hired Sarah Lehman as PR Coordinator. Lehman comes to Page Communications after spending one year with the Kansas City, Kan. Public Library in a PR coordinator role. Lehman’s responsibilities at Page Communications include social media strategy and management, media relations, press release and advisory writing, logistical event planning, and assistance with agency marketing and internal operations. Lehman joined Page Communications on April 22, 2013 after one month enrolled in the agency’s internship program. She graduated from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
Lehman’s educational experience includes a summer internship at Premier Public Relations, a London-based communications agency specializing in the entertainment industries, representing brands such as Discovery Channel, Dreamworks Animation, HBO, Lionsgate, MTV, Sony Pictures, and Warner Bros.
Page Communications experienced significant growth in the first quarter of 2013, adding UnitedHealthcare, The Roasterie Air-Roasted Coffee and Kansas City Power & Light District to its client roster. In addition, Page Communications managed the Dining for JJ’s benefit on Feb. 23, 2013 as its client, The Greater Kansas City Restaurant Week, coordinate the citywide dining event. The event would raise more than $110,000 for the JJ’s Restaurant employees affected by the restaurant explosion on Feb. 19.
