As Page Communications celebrates its sixth anniversary in April, the public relations agency is pleased to announce the hire of Katlin Spoon as public relations coordinator. Spoon joins the Page Communications team after graduating with honors from the University of Missouri – Kansas City in December 2015 with a dual degree from the College of Arts & Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Journalism and Mass Communication. Spoon joined Page Communications as an intern in mid-January and was hired by the agency in April 2015. Spoon’s responsibilities for the agency include social media strategy and management, press release and advisory writing, media relations, event support, strategic positioning and messaging, and community outreach.
Spoon comes to Page Communications with heavy social media experience from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where she served as a marketing intern focused on social media strategy and account management across multiple platforms. Additionally, Spoon developed several campaigns throughout her coursework at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, including advertising campaigns for Radio Shack and Trader Joe’s.
Page Communications further celebrates its sixth anniversary with a number of new clients in its portfolio, including Houlihan’s Restaurants, LANE4 Property Group and Doughnut Lounge. The agency also recently managed the grand opening of Leinenkugel’s KC.
