Adrienne Strobel has been hired by Page Communications as public relations coordinator after working at the agency through her junior and senior years of college as an intern. Strobel joins the Page Communications team after graduating with honors from Park University in May 2016 with a degree from the College of Arts and Sciences. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts: Public Relations. Strobel’s responsibilities for the firm include social media strategy and management, press release and advisory writing, media relations, event support, strategic positioning and messaging, and community outreach.
Strobel comes to Page Communications with a background in customer service and experience in the food and beverage industry. Before moving to Kansas City to finish her degree, Strobel attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, where she worked at Johnny’s Tavern West for nearly two years. Strobel managed and maintained the social media page for Johnny’s Tavern West, increasing interaction with its target audience. Throughout her coursework at Park University, Strobel wrote for The Stylus, Park University’s student newspaper, as well as filmed and produced news packages for the Northland News, a student-produced news program, also from the university.
Page Communications is currently executing its strategic plan for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Circus XTREME®, performing at Sprint Center September 15-18. This year marks the agency’s fourth consecutive year managing the PR and media for the show. Page Communications has also recently added Devon Seafood + Steak in Milwaukee to its portfolio along with Urbana KC and Sprint Family Fun Days, both monthly events hosted the Kansas City Power & Light District.
