Breanne Frakes joins Page Communications as public relations coordinator; Sarah Lehman promoted to account executive

Three months from its fifth anniversary, Page Communications is pleased to announce the hire of Breanne Frakes as public relations coordinator. Frakes’ responsibilities for the firm include press release and advisory writing, media relations, strategic positioning and messaging, social media strategy and management, event support, and assisting with agency marketing and internal operations. Frakes recently graduated with honors from the University of Missouri and holds a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication.

Frakes comes to Page Communications from Lift Division, a digital marketing firm based in Columbia, Missouri, where she served as a content strategist. Over the course of two years, Frakes maximized online growth for clients through search engine optimization techniques such as writing guest blog posts and elevating website content. Additionally, Frakes has gained experience through PR internships at Veterans United Home Loans in Columbia and Lockton Companies, Inc. in Kansas City, at which she wrote press releases and media advisories, interviewed key associates, and wrote stories for internal communication marketing pieces. Frakes also brings with her writing and advertising experience, which she gained as the copywriter for a team that developed a campaign for Blue Diamond Almond Breeze®, the client assigned for her senior capstone course.

In addition to the hiring of Frakes, current Page Communications employee Sarah Lehman has been promoted to PR account executive. Lehman was promoted in October. In her role, Lehman will continue to support the agency with added management responsibilities, including account strategy development and tactical execution, client relations, and overseeing the agency’s intern program.

Page Communications is currently managing the PR and social media for Kansas City Restaurant Week; the fifth consecutive year the agency has assumed the role. In 2015, Page Communications also procured the continuation of partnerships with three current clients, which hired the agency for grand opening projects last year – Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, Summit Grill & Bar and The Body Lab.

In November, the agency also acquired d’Bronx Authentic Deli and Pizzeriafor its client portfolio as the highly recognized Kansas City restaurant prepares for its 25th anniversary in 2015.
