Page Communications Expands Staff and Space as it Enters Second Year of Operations
Kathryn Mansur Hired as PR Coordinator; Agency Moves Offices to Accommodate Increasing Operations
Kansas City, Mo. (August 11, 2011) – Page Communications is proud to announce the hire of Kathryn Mansur as the agency’s PR coordinator. Mansur joins the Page Communications team after graduating from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. this past May with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Mansur’s responsibilities include media relations, release and advisory writing, logistical event planning, social media management, and internal management.
Mansur comes to Page Communications with educational experience in strategic communication and marketing. She served as campus marketing representative for Victoria’s Secret PINK at the University of Missouri. In her role, Mansur was responsible for increasing brand awareness and administrating public relations efforts on campus. During the summer of 2010, Mansur left the Midwest to pursue opportunities in the fashion industry in New York City. She worked at Red Light PR, a public relations firm specializing in brand awareness for entertainment and apparel brands that summer. At the same time, Mansur worked as a production assistant at North Six, a production house that oversees corporate luxury fashion advertising campaigns, including her work on the production for the Tiffany and Co. 2010 Holiday advertising commercial and print campaign.
Currently, Mansur is an active volunteer for the Fringe Festival of Kansas City fashion committee with involvement in the planning and production of fashion shows and events in the metro area for the past four years.
Mansur joins the Page Communications team as the agency’s first full-time employee since business partners Lee Page and Travis Joyal started the business in April 2010. Mansur’s hire comes on the heels of the Page Communications’ offices moving operations to a 552-square-foot space located at 4550 Main Street, Suite 210 in Kansas City, Mo. in April of this year. The agency formerly operated out of a smaller space located in the same building.
With just over a year of operations, Page Communications has built a client roster that includes Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone, Kanrocksas Music Festival, Legends Outlets Kansas City, McCormick & Schmick’s, oneNINETEEN, Park Place (Leawood), Smallcakes: A Cupcakery, Tavern in the Village, and The Mixx.
