Kansas City, Mo. (October 10, 2011) – Page Communications has been selected as the agency of record to represent the third annual Kansas City Restaurant Week, to be held January 20 – January 29, 2012. Kansas City Restaurant Week is the premier dining event of the year, showcasing a diverse group of restaurants from all parts of the Kansas City metro while offering residents and visitors multi-course lunch and dinner menus for $15 and $30, respectively. Ten percent of the prices of these multi-course meals are designated for donation to Harvesters – The Community Food Network. This will mark the second consecutive year that Page Communications has represented the PR and marketing efforts of Kansas City Restaurant Week. Last year, the agency helped propel the event to heightened success, resulting in a donation of $80,000 to Harvesters – the Community Food Network – nearly $25,000 more than the inaugural event raised in 2010 – translating to an increase in a quarter of a million dollars in overall sales for participating restaurants from the inaugural year.
