Page Communications Begins Work With Two Restaurants New To The Metro Area
Zócalo Mexican Cuisine & Tequileria On The Country Club Plaza And Fo Thai Located In Leawood’s oneNINETEEN Added To Client Roster
Kansas City, Mo. (February 10, 2012) – After wrapping up work on the most successful Kansas City Restaurant Week to date, Page Communications is pleased to announce the additions of Zócalo Mexican Cuisine & Tequileria and Fo Thai to its client roster. Both concepts are new to the Kansas City metro area, opening in late 2011.
Zócalo Mexican Cuisine & Tequileria is located at 620 West 48th Street in Kansas City, Mo. on the Country Club Plaza. It offers a lunch and dinner menu focused on the up-and-coming cuisine of Cal-Mex. A cuisine new to the Kansas City dining scene, the Cal-Mex style of cooking tends to be healthier, emphasizing the use of genuine, unaltered, fresh ingredients including whole beans instead of fried, high quality meat and seafood, and authentic soft corn tortillas. In addition, Zócalo offers more than 60 tequilas crafted from 100 percent blue agave.
Fo Thai, located at 4331 West 119th Street in Leawood, Kan. in the oneNINETEEN shopping center, is culturally inspired dining destination with modern fusion Thai cuisine, a variety of unique signature cocktails, and a lush interior design including various forms of Thai-inspired art, including a towering Buddha in the main dining room. The restaurant’s interior has received diner accolades, for its small river filled with coy fish, pagoda-style seating, and a bridge that leads to the individual, private restrooms where fish swim beneath diners’ feet. Page Communications recently coordinate and executed an official opening party at Fo Thai on January 12, which resulted in nearly $2,500.00 raised for the party’s charitable partner, the 2012 Bloom Party, the Kansas City Free Health Clinic’s annual fundraiser.
